Super concentrated goodness
There are a lot of elderberry extracts/tinctures/ syrups out there, and I have tried quite a few of them. The great thing about THIS glycerin-based extract is its strength. When they say 'concentrated' - they are not kidding around...a little goes a long, long way, PLUS it is shelf stable (though you could refrigerate it if you'd like to) - which is amazing to me! It tastes good, not overly sweet. This is just the plain black elderberry without the added spices or sweeteners that some other formulas have. (You could add your own spices to your glass...) I have gotten a few of these bottles to gift to friends and family for them to keep on hand. Happy with Elderberry extract
I’ve been taking Sambucus Black Elderberry syrup for some time and when I saw the extract advertised at a lower price than the syrup I decided to give it a try. I haven’t been disappointed. The extract is pleasant tasting and seems to be a bit stronger. The directions say 1 teaspoon instead of 1 tablespoon with the syrup. I am very happy with my decision to try the extract.
